Osusu road: Contractor threatens to sue Orji Kalu for crediting project to NDDC

The managing Director of ECKLEEN INTEGRATED SERVICES, the contractor that handled the Osusu road Project in Aba, Mr Uzoma Onuoha has threatened to sue Former Governor of the state, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for claiming that the road was done by the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC.
Mr. Onuoha who spoke to newsmen in Aba while reacting to the Claims of Orji Uzor Kalu, described it as the Mother of all lies and one from the pit of hell.
He wondered how someone could wake up over night to make claims of a project funded and executed by the state government under Governor Okezie ikpeazu.
"It is to my utmost consternation and it shocked me to my marrow that somebody will just come up overnight to claim a job I did for the Abia State Government, of which I have the documents to Substantiate my claims"
"This contract, Osusu road Project was awarded in the year 2018 and since then,I have never had anything to do with the NDDC" Engr Onuoha said.
While displaying documents issued to his company by the Abia State Government for the job, he said that the contractor which was awarded in 2018 ,was duely supervised by the state ministry of works.
According to him,no official of the NDDC at any point in time, monitored or supervised the project. He expressed deep shock and annoyance that the former Governor is now lying that the road was done by NDDC.
"Even the day the road was commissioned , there was no representative from that outfit even during the time of construction,we never experienced anybody from the NDDC,it has all been the ministry of works Abia State that has been supervising what I did", he added.
Mr Onuoha described Senator Kalu's claim as fallacious, misleading and political propaganda aimed at scoring cheap popularity.
He made it clear that he is not a registered contractor with NDDC and has never handled any Project for the Commission, stressing that he is a business Man working for the Abia State Government.
"This claim is fallacious, misleading and a lie from the pit of hell" Onuoha concluded.
