The Prayers of Abians will Produce a worthy Successor to Me - Ikpeazu

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed confidence that the prayers and supplications of the people of Abia State will lead to the emergence of a worthy successor who will consolidate on the gains of his administration and take the State higher on the pedestal of development.

 

The Governor who stated this today when he spoke at the Annual Program of the Assemblies of God Church, 123 Tenant Road, Aba assured that he will continue working tirelessly for the people of Abia State till his last day in office.

 

He gave a further assurance that key roads in Aba like Ngwa Road, Omuma, PH Road and other ongoing projects will continue to receive attention until their completion.

 

He challenged Abians to believe in the time table of God stating that God is never late, using his own life's experience as a point of reference.

 

The Presiding Minister of the Church, Rev. Dr. Ogboso Ejindu thanked the Governor for the prevailing peace in the State and urged the Governor to continue to ensure that the politics of succession does not destabilize the State.

 

He specifically thanked the Governor for identifying with his church and honoring all invitations from his church.

 

The Governor was accompanied to the church by the Member representing Aba Central in the House of Assembly, Hon. Abraham Oba, the Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Uche Ihediwa, SAN, Commissioner for Industries, Chief Mrs Uwaoma Olewengwa, Commissioner for Science and Technology, Chief Okezie Erondu.
