The current 16 percent Tuberculosis cases notification rate in the latest Global Survey report, reveal Nigeria's TB gap as the highest in the world, accounting for 15 percent of the global gap.

The Transmission TB report further reveal, that approximately one million of the over four million cases would be infected with HIV,while 200,000 was expected to have multi-drug resistant TB.

However, the Supervising Minister of Health,Khaliru Al-Hassan has noted that the country diagnosed and reported only 16 percent of the estimated Tuberculosis cases last year, stressing that the country only accounted for 15 percent of 3.3 million TB cases that were either diagnosed or diagnosed but not notified.
