The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University Uturu, Professor E. Uche Ikonne, has on behalf of Management, Staff and Students of Abia State University congratulated the Eminent Governor, Abia State and Visitor to the University, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D on the prestigious Awards of the Most Improved State in Educational Development in Nigeria and the Most Improved State in the Promotion of Made in Nigeria Goods and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), conferred on the State by Business Day Newspapers, as well as, being voted as Governor of the year, 2019 by Vanguard Newspapers.
The Vice-Chancellor applauded the Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on these well deserved Awards, noting that as a Scholar-in-Governance and worthy Ambassador of the Academia, the Governor has recorded landmark achievements in every sector of the State's economy, thereby returning Abia State to the path of growth and prosperity.
The Vice-Chancellor thanked the two National tabloids- Business Day and Vanguard Newspapers for the honour done the Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D and Abia State.
The Vice-Chancellor prayed God to endow the Governor with more wisdom and grace for greater accomplishments in his service of the State, Nation and Humanity.
