And so my friend from Akwa Ibom State wakes me up from sleep with " that Imposter Governor wetin be him name sef? which part of Abia state is he from"?  It took me some minutes to understand what he was talking about and the next was" ngwas don suffer and their ukwa brothers".
Well, we had a  long talk about that and his conclusion was "Abia has never gotten a leader until now, Okezie Ikpeazu is the first, I think he's God sent and when someone is breaking a Convenant of curse, he will face challenges. Prophecies are always fought by the devil, if and when he succeeds Abia will start to have good leadership, but if the devil overcomes this prophecy to deliver Abia from the shackles of darkness (which he can't) then Abia is doomed for God knows when".
The discussion continued and he revealed a lot of things I didn't know which would be  a subject of discussion for another day.

Then, I moved down to the Unity Chapel for a Thanksgiving service organised by the state government and all of a sudden another prophet from Akwa Ibom State climbs the podium and makes yet another startling revelation in alliance with what the first man said and quietly tears dropped down my cheeks in the midst of the service, with a lot of questions begging for answers.
First, why did God say He would use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise? Why do people sent on Divine assignments always go through very difficult times, and yet God said no temptation can come to you that you can't be able to  handle?

I felt pained and was still drifting while the service went on and suddenly I heard down within me that it was a case of David and Goliath.
My realization was that Goliath had all the wherewithal to go for  a fight and was sure of winning but David had only a stone and the catapult, but suddenly it dawned on him that it doesn't matter who has what, what matters is who has promised to be with you till the end of time, and that worked for him.
Will the uncircumcised Philistine come against the Lords chosen one? In whose name are you fighting this?
... Let Him whose God is of justice, deliver it to the just...

And as if all these were not enough thoughts for me, the wife of the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, comes up with another comforting word from the Lord "it is well" and a sensational song to cap it "All other grounds is sinking sand".

It dawned on me that the battle is no longer man's but God's.

Suffice it to say that I am not from the Ukwa-Ngwa extraction and do not have a link with them, neither do my Akwa Ibom friend, but truth be told, it's not about the Ngwa people, it's about whom God has ordained to deliver His people from the  powers that has prevailed over the years, and if he was picked from no where as a result of prophecy, can we please allow God's will to be done?

Someone will tell me, I love this man, but I don't like where he's coming from " and my response is," God must use someone  to lift you up and take you to the next level, it doesn't matter who.
More worrisome is the fact that a lot of people who say they don't like him, do not have any reason.
Allow God to visit the iniquities of the fathers to the children, and not do yours and God's.

Since ascension into office as the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has gone through some excruciating moments that's enough to deter a focused man from achieving purpose, yet he's not discouraged. If there is anything I admire in him, it's the fact that he has never excluded the God and Grace factor, knowing that God gives power to whom He wills.

As the political tussle in the state continues which I consider as unnecessary and a distraction, I believe those who understand the times knows that the clock is ticking so fast. It's a matter of Urgent Public Importance like my Legislators would put it and such issues requires urgent attention.

Should the Abia people fold their arms and allow sentiments becloud their sense of reasoning? Where are the Abia elder statesmen who should be intervening in issues like this?
Should they allow a man who committed no sin, become a victim of "appetite"?
Common sense, tells me those who know the truth should speak up and reject the doom that may befall Abia if the right thing is not done?

I have spent my entire day thinking about the happenings of the day. I keep wondering why all these are happening to Abia and more especially to a king picked like David when other ones that appeared like it came to be annointed but was rejected because they were not chosen of the Lord.

If you ask me, it is better, these two brothers from same family met with their father, who would pronounce the decree of the family, than any been disgraced at the end of the day.

As much as I love the two men involved, let God's judgement prevail over Abia.

... I rest my case... Anonymous...
