Abia Speaker Tasks Colleagues on the Passage of more Bills

Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has tasked his colleagues at the Assembly on the need to ensure more Bills are passed before the next break.
The Speaker stated this at the plenary session of the House held on Monday, October 5, 2020.
Emphasising on the need for more Bills to be passed by the House, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji said, "we have to pass at least six more Bills, two of which must be Private Members' Bill, before we go on any kind of break".
Continuing, the Speaker said, "This has also become necessary to encourage Members who introduce Bills to the House and give the necessary legislative interventions to issues affecting our people", he concluded.
