Abia Deputy Speaker Commences Palliative Work in Ohafia

Moved by the suffering of his people, especially the Oboro, Ndi Aku and Ndi Uduma Ukwu communities, the Deputy Speaker of Abia State House Of Assembly/Member Representing Ohafia South Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu has today commenced a Palliative work on the road linking the three rural communities.
According to the Deputy Speaker, the aim of the palliative work is to help ameliorate some portions of the road that is almost impassible now due to heavy rain.
He stated that palliative work on the road will help reconnect the people from the communities with their neighboring communities of Nkwebi and Okagwe Ohafia as well help them in transporting their farm produce which according to them is their only means of livelihood.

The palliative work on the Oboro-Ndi Aku-Ndi Uduma Ukwu road is coming just a day after the Deputy Speaker flagged of a water borehole project at Okon Aku community of Ohafia.
This is also in addition to the ongoing construction of a Health Care Center in Ibina, Skill Acquisition Centers at Amangwu and Akanu Communities, Construction of Eziafor Daily (Evening) Market and the ongoing construction of Modern Toilet for Okagwe community.
