Gov. Ikpeazu congratulates Paul Ikonne on appointment as NALDA boss

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, Phd has sent a message of congratulations to Prince Paul Ikonne on his new appointment as the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Lands Development Agency ( NALDA) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Governor Ikpeazu described Prince Ikonne as “an illustrious son of Abia State” who had served the Government and People of Abia State in several capacities, including serving as a one time Honorable Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning.

The Governor challenged Prince Ikonne to see his new appointment as a call to National Duty and as an Ambassador of the people of Abia State. He further charged him to toe the lines of other sons and daughters of Abia State who excelled when called upon to offer service at the federal level, and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence and integrity in the discharge of his responsibilities.

The Governor expressed his deep gratitude and those of the entire people of Abia State to the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari for looking in the direction of Abia State to find a suitable person to head this critical and highly strategic National Agency.
