In what appears to be a heightened anticipation for one of the most interactive Google yearly event, technology pioneers and enthusiasts that make up the Abia State technology community are proving beyond reasonable doubt that all is set for this year’s Google IO Extended.

Established since May 2008 as an exclusive annual developers conference held only in Mountain View, California, Google IO has since moved to become an engaging platform which has spread to other continents of the globe, and has enabled software developers, alongside technology enthusiasts to not only network, but also to explore, learn and be exposed to the latest products by Google.

With so many innovative products and services, this year’s Google IO presents amazing opportunities for business people, start-ups, digital pioneers, techpreneurs and technology based companies.

While reeling out the trappings for this year’s event, and the need for attendance, Nnanna John, the GDG Aba Lead also stated that the event will open the eyes of so many persons to the solution-based products by Google, and how they can key into it. For him, the event present an amazing opportunity for the tech community in Aba to connect more and thrive.

“This year’s Google IO will be an upgrade of what happened last year, and that’s how it is supposed to be. We have not just prepared Google platforms for people to explore; we also have seasoned speakers that will talk about issues that relate core developers and other tech-related persons, even enthusiasts.

“There is definitely something for everyone, and it’s not just an event, but also an experience and a learning platform that will change the way we see things, and inspire to think outside the box. It’s a whole package all in one.

This year’s Google IO will hold on 31st, May and 1st, June 2019.
