Abia lawmakers set to shutdown Nude clubs, brothel

Abia State House of Assembly on Monday, January 22, resolved to shutdown Hotels, Brothels and Motels encouraging Pornography in Umuahia.
The House also resolved to mandate the Newly created Abia State Ministry of Special Duties and Vulnerable groups to rehabilitate remand homes In Abia in a bid to arrest the increasing rate of Mad People in the Streets of Aba and Umuahia.
The Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member Representing Umuahia Central State Constituency Hon Chinedum Orji urged the 6th Assembly to intervene in the increasing rate of Pornographic Hotels where Ladies Dance Naked at night in the Capital of Umuahia.
It was gathered that the Abia House Leader however warned owners of such Hotels to put an end to such activities which is bringing bad image to the Capital of Abia State.
“Mr Speaker,we have to act before things gets out of hand,the increasing rate of these Hotels where Girls Dance Naked in Umuahia should be a serious concern to us,I heard there is one in Ubakala Street in Umuahia where this Girls are perpetrating this unholy activities”
“I want to warn here,that Such activities cannot be tolerated in my own Constituency of Umuahia Central”He Said
