BBNaija: Governor Okorocha names Ex-housemate, Uriel, Ambassador

Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has named ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa as an ambassador for Imo state carnival.

The governor made the announcement over the weekend during an event held at the Imo International Conference Centre, Owerri, TheCable reports.

“Welcome back home and thank you very much for making us proud. God bless you,” said Okorocha, after inviting Uriel on stage.

He added: “I hereby this morning, officially appoint you, for this pride you have done to us, the carnival ambassador. God bless you.”

Uriel was the eighth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality show.

The Imo carnival is a yearly event that was created to showcase the rich and beautiful cultural heritage of the people.
