Governor Ikpeazu frowns at use of touts for revenue collection

 Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has visited the scene of the recent accident that claimed lives at Waterside Bridge in Aba.

Governor Ikpeazu who arrived the accident scene in the company of his Commissioner for Works, Hon. Eziuche Ubani, frowned at the use of touts as revenue collection agents and ordered full scale investigation into the remote and immediate causes of the unfortunate incident while vowing to bring the perpetrators to book.

He commiserated with the family and friends of those who lost their lives as a result of the accident. Earlier, the Deputy Governor, Sir Udo Oko Chukwu, visited some of the victims at a hospital in Aba.
