'Return to school or remain sacked', Ikpeazu tells Poly staff

The Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has ordered the immediate resumption of academic and regular activities at the Abia state polytechnic, Aba on Monday 6th February 2017.
Ikpeazu further instructed that employees who fail and/or refuse to show up for work on the new resumption date shall be deemed to have resigned their appointments.
According to a statement signed by the commissioner For education, Prof. Ikechi Mgbeoji, the Governor urged the school management to ensure that all academic activities are fully carried out.
Recall that the state polytechnic embarked on an indefinite strike over unpaid salaries as a result of fund misappropriation by management.
