Dokpesi Visits Abia; Solicits For Votes

As the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gears up for its August the 17th National Convention in Port Harcourt, the Chairman of Daar Communications,  Raymond Dokpesi has continued his campaign across the six geo political zones of the federation. He was in Abia to solicit for the votes of Abia delegates to the convention

While soliciting for the votes of Abia delegates at the State Headquarters of the party in Umuahia, Raymond Dokpesi who is running for the chairmanship position of the PDP said his objective as a builder is to rebuild, rebrand, and reposition the party to retake power in 2019. He said he will transform the party for the better.

Dokpesi decried the marginalization of the southeast by the presidency, while regretting the party’s mistakes in its 16 years of leadership.

He said the party is branded as the most corrupt by the ruling All Progresives Congress, but noted that if elected, would right the wrongs of the party in the past years.

According to him, the youths would be giving opportunities and prayed for the support of Abia PDP to help him achieve his aim.

He however, commended the party in Abia for standing by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu during this trying moment and expressed confidence that the governor will emerge victorious at the end.

The Chairman of the party, Johnson Onuigbo described the visit as the first of its kind and promised that the party in the state will do all it can to ensure he emerges victorious.

He described it as a mark of honour and respect for Abia PDP.

Dokpesi was received by the states party executives and local government chairmen of the party.
