Rivers Election Rerun Postponed Again by INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has once again postponed the legislative election rerun in Rivers state. The election which is supposed to be held on Saturday August 6, was postponed with no date fixed. According to a statement by the Secretary to INEC, Mrs. Augusta Ogakwu, the rerun was shifted again because of reports of violence in the state. |
