The Governor expressed delight at the project which he described as a genuine demonstration of the love of the donor, to his community.
He said the building will not only serve as a shelter for Mbubo people, but the health Centre which is optimally equipped with ultra modern equipment including theatres and laboratories will serve both the Mbubo people and other Abians.

Governor Ikpeazu while assuring that the state government will ensure the sustenance of the project, enjoined Abians to embark on projects that would touch the hearts of the people.

The sponsor of the project, Mr. Eric Opah, who used the day as both for the dedication of his child and celebration of the birthday of his 82 year old father said the event centre is to enhance the development of community and to generate revenues that would be used to better the lives of his people.
