Abia State Governor-elect,Okezie Ikpeazu reassures on building a new Abia

The Abia State governor-elect,Okezie Ikpeazu has reassured Abians of his firm promise to rebuild the state and set a new pace,while thanking Abians for coming out en masse to vote for him at the just concluded elections.

The governor - elect who declared this at a press briefing in his country home, Umuobiakwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of the state, dedicated his victory to God almighty whom he said crowned all their efforts with a resounding success and thanked all Abians for their resilience and for bestowing so much confidence in him.
Ikpeazu noted that history has been made; becoming the first elected governor of Abia State from Ukwa Ngwa, a feat he described as an act of the grace of God.

He said he has the mandate to serve the people and bring about unity among ndi-igbo at large.
The governor-elect maintained that the election is an Abia endorsement rather than a battle.

On his focus for the first hundred days in office for Aba as the governor of the state, he stressed that Aba is not the only city in Abia State and therefore, all the Local governments of the state will receive a boost, with particular focus on Aba roads,allowing for even development.
He said, a strong foundation for Small and Medium enterprises, will be built, and jobs provided for the unemployed qualified youths in the state.

The governor-elect also emphasized that his administration will provide a level playing ground for all, urging all those who contested against him to join hands with him to move the state to the next level.
