INEC deploys materials for Saturday's elections

The Abia State Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, have began the distribution of sensitive and non sensitive materials to the 17 Local Government Areas of the state ahead of Saturday's gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.
The deployment of the materials which was done under the watchful eyes of stakeholders and party agents of different political parties took place at the state headquarters in Umuahia.
Security agents were also on hand to guard the materials as well as monitor its movement to various destinations.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner,Prof. Celina Oko who debunked rumours making rounds that the result of Abia State Central senatorial seat has been cancelled, noted that all is set for the elections.
