People's Democratic Party (PDP) primary for the Senate scheduled to hold today at the Cenotaph Asaba is not holding.

As at the time of filing in this report by 4:35pm, no aspirant or supporter has come to the venue.

Factnewsonline gathered that the election has been postponed to Tuesday December 9. The move is said to help the party restrategize and resolve very knotty issues.

A reliable source confided in Factnewsonline that negotiations on how to return one of the Governorship aspirants, incumbent Senator Ifeanyi Okowa back to the Senate. This is to be a palliative measure.

Meanwhile, an official statement is yet to come from the PDP on the postponement
