PDP Releases Results Of Delta State Assembly Primaries

People's Democratic Party (PDP) has today, Wednesday December 3, 2014 released the results of  the last Saturday's House of Assembly Primaries across the 29 constituencies of Delta state.

The State Chairman of the Party, Chief Edwin Uzor has also presented Certificates of Return to some of the candidates who were around when the results were announced.

Most of the people who won the primaries are present members of the Delta State House of Assembly. They include: Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya (Speaker), Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana (Deputy Speaker), Monday Igbuya (Majority Leader), Johnson Erijo (Deputy Majority Leader), Hon Samuel Mariere of Ughelli North 1 and Tim Owhefere - Isoko North.

Others are: Keston Okoro - Udu; Daniel Mayuku -  Warri South West; Dennis Omovie - Warri South 2; Kennedy Daubry - Burutu 2; Dan Yingi - Burutu 1 and Friday Osanebi - Ndokwa East. Alphonsus Ojo - Ukwuani; Azuka Azaka - Ndokwa West ; Efe Ofobruku - Uvwie and Mrs Pat Ajudua - Oshimili North.

Other winners as declared by PDP are: Lady Angela Nwaka - Aniocha South; Uzoma Idabor - Aniocha North; Mrs Orezi Esievo - Isoko South 1; Sherriff Oborovwori - Okpe; Micheal Diden - Warri North; Godwin Abigor - Warri South 1; Tony Elekeokwuri - Ika North East; Isaac Ulebor - Ika South; Pius Labo - Bomadi; Arthur Akpowowo - Ethiope East; Erhiatake Ibori - Ethiope West; Reuben Izeze - Ughelli South and Prince Eric Oharisi for Ughelli North 2.

The speaker, Hon Peter Onwusanya commended the peaceful conduct of the primaries. He said its a good sign for the general elections while calling on Deltans to be law-abiding and peaceful.
