The Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives  Party (YPP) and Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District of Anambra state, Senator Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah, was this morning barred by angry looking security men at the court in Abuja during the court appearance of the leader of the Indegenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Senator Ubah after trekking for more than two kilometres from the barricade to the court was refused entry into the premises and asked to stay away from the area even after identifying himself properly as a serving senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.

It was also reported that, businesses within the areas of the court was shutdown, in anticipation that angry Nigerians who are not happy with the obvious intimidation and harassment of Igbo race may rise up against government’s underhand policies and persecution of the south east region.

Even the lawyers of the supposed defender, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not spared in the harassment and intimidation of Igbo leaders who went to the court in solidarity with the IPoB leader.

The action of the police and other security agents in the court today is a clear sign that Nigeria is at war with its citizens.
