Covid-19: Arochukwu LGA reforms Taskforce team as 4 new zones emerge

The Covid 19 Task Force Team in Arochukwu LGA has been reformed to meet up with the recent Covid 19 protocols as directed by the State Government.

The terms of Reference of the Task Force Team is to ensure strict compliance with the following:

1. Wearing of Face masks.

2. Maintaining Social Distancing.

3. Washing of hands with soap and running water regularly.

4. Ensure that churches comply with the Government's directives as regards worship; with not more than 50 persons, Night vigils, midweek services and children Sunday Schools are hereby prohibited.

5. Ensure that market places all comply to Covid 19 protocols.

6. Transporters are enjoined to carry required passengers at all times as offenders will be prosecuted by the mobile court.

7. They are to monitor places of burials to ensure that the Government's directives on burials are maintained.

The Covid 19 Task Force Team are divided into 4 zones, namely: Arochukwu clan, Abam clan, Ihechiowa clan, Ututu/Isu clans respectively to ensure effective and efficient operational system.

Present during the reformation of the Task Force Team on Covid 19 are the Deputy T.C Chairman, Chief Dan Ogbuagu, Divisional Police Officer in Arochukwu with his team, the DSS, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps and the Secretary of the Council of Ndi Eze in Arochukwu LGA, Eze Okorafor Uroh Okorafor.

The Council Chairman, Mazi Emmanuel Jideofor Kanu advised the reformed Task Force Team to discharge their duties with all sense of responsibility, honesty, commitment and sincerity of purpose.
