Samuel Eto'o is available for Everton's first appearance on the European stage for four years against Wolfsburg in the Europa League.
The former Cameroon striker missed the 2-0 victory over West Brom on Saturday with a groin problem.
Defender Sylvain Distin could also return to the side after recovering from a back injury.
Full-back Tony Hibbert, who signed a new contract in July, could make his first appearance since February.
Everton's last competitive appearance in Europe ended in a 3-0 defeat away to Sporting Lisbon in a Europa League last-32 tie on 25 February 2010.
But Roberto Martinez's side return to the competition after finishing fifth in the Premier League last season.
Toffees boss Martinez said Everton were "back where they belong" ahead of the visit of German club Wolfsburg, who finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season.
"We're very excited," added the 41-year-old Spaniard.
"Everton had their first taste of European football 52 years ago so this is nothing new.
"This is something we feel should be part of our day-to-day work.
"The Europa League is a great competition, it's where we need to be testing ourselves."
Everton are in Group H with French side Lille and Russian outfit Krasnodar, as well as Wolfsburg.
Martinez said: "The draw has been really kind in terms of bringing two phenomenal football teams of the quality of Lille and Wolfsburg to Goodison.
"Then there's a real surprise with Krasnodar beating Real Sociedad in the play-offs."
