Scholarship Board
Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu (PhD), today, inaugurated a six man membership into the Abia State scholarship board.
The board is saddled with the responsibility of providing support to Abianst from Primary, Secondary through Tertiary education. Moreso, it will identify most vulnerable pupils and students in their first and final years of education and those who desire for skills in line with the administration's objectives.
While inaugurating the board, Governor said the support for the yearnings of the youth to achieve education is very critical adding that members of the board were painstakingly chosen and expressed belief that they are capable of bringing innovations and ensure young Abians have access to quality education beyond Nigeria.
Chairman of the Board, Prof Samuel Igwe assured the board will give their best to achieve the objectives.
