Abia state government pledged to offset patient's medical bills

Abia state Government has promised to offset the medical bills of Mr. Uduma Eme: a photographer with Abia Newspaper and publishing cooperation who has a kidney challenge.

 


   The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Strategy: Comrade Bonnie Iwuoha, disclosed this, when the members of the Abia State specialist Hospital, led by professor Augustus Mbanaso,, paid him a visit in his office.

 


   Comrade Iwuoha thanked the Board and the hospital management for the admission and treatment of Mr. Uduma without any kind of deposit and extolled the good qualities of Prof. Mbanaso in manning the affairs of the board, while promising to publicize the activities of the hospital.

 

 


   Earlier in his speech, the chairman of the board explained that they were at the Commissioner’s office to solicit money to clear the medical bills of Mr. Uduma Eme and expressed worry over the accumulated debts of the Hospital.

 


   In a vote of thanks, the Chief Medical Director Abia Specialist Hospital: Prof. Uwadinachi Iweha, thanked the commissioner for the warm reception accorded them and for disclosing the readiness of the Government to take are of Mr. Uduma Eme.
