INEC Issues Certificate of Return to Abia State House of Assembly Members

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has issued Certificate of Return to seven Abia State House of Assembly Members, following the rerun elections of March 5.
While issuing out the certificate, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sylvester Ezeani, congratulated the winners, noting that the giving out of the certificate concludes the election.
He urged the honourable members not to forget the electorates while in office.
Speaking on behalf of the elected members, Ikedi Ezekwesiri, Umunneochi, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, commended INEC for their outstanding performance at the rerun elections.
According to him, it signals a ray of hope for a better electoral process in the nation.
Ezekwesiri thanked the people of their constituencies for believing in them and assured of effective representation that will impact on the people.

Luke Ukara - Arochukwu
Theophilus Ugboaja - Ikwuano
Chikwendu Kalu - Isiala Ngwa South
Emeka Alozie - Osisioma South
Chijioke Nwachukwu - Umuahia South
Ikedi Ezekwesiri - Umunneochi.
