Five Star Music act, Skiibii makes a return to social media a week after the rumour of his death nearly broke the internet. The fast rising act made his first public appearance on Wednesday August 19, 2015 on Cool Fm where he cleared the air on the issue saying he only suffered a ‘Black-out‘. In his first social media post since the news broke, Skiibii says, ‘Death is not a play thing neither should it be joked over and/or about’....

He however, thanked Five Star crew and his friends for standing by him. In his words

'I can not say thank you enough to everyone for the love and support you have generously shown me in my time of trial. Life is full of dramatic twists and joyous moments and to this end; I thank everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Indeed God always wins. I would also seize this opportunity to admonish that being alive is a huge privilege and being in good health should never be taken for granted. Death is not a play thing neither should it be joked over and/or about. The health scare I went through this past weekend has indeed proven that love binds us all and for that singular reason, I thank you my friends and family for your support. Great thanks to my FIVE STAR FAMILY: KCEE, HARRY SONGS, EMONEY and the entire FIVE STAR MUSIC. I appreciate fellow entertainers whose love and respect is unending and to the fans whose support and regards never wavered regardless of the weather. God bless you all and God Bless Nigeria....'

Also, Skiibii who was interviewed on Cool FM by popular OAP, Dotun  on August 19, said he’s previously suffered what he calls the ‘Blackout’ in the past and Friday, August 14, 2015 was not the first time it would happen to him.

Below are 9 punchlines from the interview…

1. I woke up on Friday morning and told Harrysong I wanted to go and see my brother that stays in Ijesha, Surulere because they don’t see me often because of my kind of job.

2.This thing that happened has happened to me in the past, like 3 times. It happens like a sudden blackout.

3. I remember it happened to me once while I was flying on a plane with our producer, Del B.

4.At that time, doctors (carried out a) heart scan on me and said I was ok, that the blackout happens when I’m too stressed or too excited.

5. This past Friday, I was in my brother’s house in Surulere when it happened. I was actually about to open a door when it happened.

6.I don’t know about the pictures that circulated because the photos were taken like 2 weeks ago in South Africa.

7. I got discharged from the hospital on Monday, August 17, 2015 and they took me straight home.

8. When I heard all the ‘Rest In Peace’ stories flying around, I was just crying

9. I’m really sad, and I blame the label manager, Soso Soberekon for this....
