I Was Banned From Nollywood With Genevieve, Others—Joke Silva

Nollywood actress, Joke Silva is adored my many and aside just being a veteran in her profession, the actress and mother is a well respected diva that is a mentor to many in the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
The actress in a recent interview revealed that she has acted in 15 movies with reasons being that she sometimes turns down some scripts and not always available.
She further disclosed that she was part of the actress blacklisted with the likes of Genevieve, Ramsey Nuaoh and the likes but her name was not mentioned in the media.
In her chat with Newswatch, she said, “There are several reasons like not being available; not wanting to work on a particular script and at other times because of being blacklisted. I am one of the blacklisted ones, but they didn't announce it. You heard it directly from me.”
The actress adding that she is a very private person as a married woman since nobody gets to talk about her, stated that she was going to be an actress all her life as the name Joke Silva has become a brand.
