Fed. Govt to begin disbursement of #220 billion MSME fund

The Federal Governmemt has began the screening of Nigerian youths for entreprenuership training with the launch of Youths Entreprenuership Strategy, YES, in Oil and Gas at the weekend.
Part of the #220 billion set aside for Micro Small Medium Enterprises,MSME, through the Central Bank of Nigeria would be utilized to fund the Youths Entreprenuership Strategy, YES.
Minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga who revealed this at the launch of the programme said, the federal government is poised to empower the youths, as they play a critical role in economic development.
Aganga, maintained that the Nigerian youths form a very substantial segment of the population, hence, the need to empower them to curb unemployment, poverty, hunger and squalor. He noted that the federal government had created windows of opportunities through legislation and the youths should take advantage of such.
