Fed. Govt approves #1.5trillion presidential support on education

Nigeria's Vice President,Namadi Sambo has disclosed that the federal government spends #1 billion annually on education projects across Nigerian Universities.
Sambo who stated this at the foundation laying ceremony of a 360 bed female hostel block and Modern International Conference Centre at the Bayero University Kano, noted that #1.5 trillion from the Presidential Support Funds on Education has been approved to cater for the need of Nigerian universities and other tertiary institutions.
This the Vice President maintained is part of the transformation agenda of the present administration.

Sambo who was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau, Minister of Special Duties, Tanimu Turaki and the Chairman of Technical Education Trust Fund,also inaugurated  the Zaria Road Bridge and some projects at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, under the supervision of the university.
