President Jonathan gives INEC Boss marching orders on PVC

President Goodluck Jonathan has given the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega a marching order to ensure that all those who registered for the Permanent Voter Cards in the country gets their cards before the general elections in February.
The President who gave the directive shortly,after swearing in of the INEC National Commissioner for Oyo State,Prof. Akinola Salau,at the villa, emphasized that the nation cannot afford to hold an election where people would be disenfranchises. Noting that Nigerians must decide who rules them at all levels of elections conducted by INEC.
President Jonathan who revealed that some state governors are yet to get their PVC's, argued that alot of Nigerians are yet to get theirs.
He however, said he was pleased with the complaints and clamour for PVC's describing it as an indication that Nigerians have developed confidence in the nation's electoral process.
