BREAKING: Court sacks Obingwa West APC Candidate

The Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia, has sacked Onyemereze Adighikachaya Prince, the 2023 candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Obingwa West State Constituency election.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had gone to Court to challenge the failure of the APC Candidate to attach evidence of educational qualifications in the documents submitted to the Independent Electoral commission (INEC).
In the suit, PDP prayed the court to nullify the affidavit submitted by the APC Candidate.
The Presiding Judge, Justice M.G Umar, in his judgment agreed with the originating summon of the PDP that challenged the qualifications of the APC candidate.
Onyemereze who claimed to have a First School Leaving Certificate, NABTEB and Diploma, could not provide any of those certificates but instead, submitted affidavits to INEC.
Factnews gathered that the judgement which was delivered in favour of PDP on the 25th day of November 2022, has not been appealed as the 14 days window period elapsed over the weekend.
