The lawmaker representing Isialangwa North State constituency, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe has stated that he resigned from Peoples Democratic party (PDP) days before the primary elections and has joined the Labour party.

Ginger made this disclosure in a disclaimer sighted by Factnewsonline today.

He insisted that he didn't participate in the PDP house of Assembly primary election and is surprised on the news that his name was replaced as the winner of the Election.

The disclaimer reads:

"It has been brought to my knowledge that my name; GINGER OBINNA ONWUSIBE was submitted to INEC by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the PDP primary election for State House of Assembly held on 22/05/2022 as PDP candidate for Isialangwa North State Constituency of Abia State.

"I hereby State categorically clear that I did not participate, take part nor show presence during the PDP sham and infamous process or primary election of 22nd May, 2022 as I had resigned my membership of the party many days before the primary election hence I withdrew and/ or backed out of the process. I therefore did not win any primary election in PDP and I am not a candidate of PDP. My decision was based on the impropriety, notoriety and infamy overtly surrounding the 2022 primary elections in the party as orchestrated by the ill-advised leadership of the party in Abia State and which by extension is consuming the party like a monster.

"I have move on with my personal life and my political carrier, Going forward I will be seeking the mandate of the people of Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency to represent them at the Federal House of Representatives come 2023 on the platform of Labor Party, I therefore humbly seek the support of our people for Good governance which I represent

"I wish all of us well as I desire, plan and work for a better Isialangwa in particular and Abia State in general.

I have No bitterness, No Grudges

Power belongs to the people

Power belongs to God Almighty

Thank you.

OKENZE GINGER ONWUSIBE.
