The Chairman, Ohafia LGA, Dr Okorafor Ukiwe was at the annual inter-house sports competition of Ohafia Girls Model High School today in Ohafia.
In his remark, the Chairman, ably represented by the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Samuel Uduma Kalu appreciated and thanked school management for their efforts and commitment in sustaining sporting activities in the school.
He also said that there is need to foster and maintain development of sporting activities in the student's community as it creates healthy rivalry, loyalty, unity and team spirit.
Ukiwe also assured he would be part of the ongoing rehabilitation of dilapidated structures in the school.
Spotlight of the event includes - match past,long jump,, high jump, race, short put and Discuss.
